Sucre

Sucre is the official capital of Bolivia and extremely pretty, our first day we headed into one of the churches where we could go up the bell tower and get a view over the city. The city itself was really pretty and quite European!

We then headed towards a restaurant that we read about in Lonely planet called el huerto that had a “garden party vibe”. On our way there we ran into a bunch of other tucaners and we found a playground that was full of giant slides and swings all themed as dinosaurs, needless to say that the inner child in all of us came out for a play! The restaurant was beautiful and we were able to get some lovely Bolivian wine and some delicious food. In the afternoon we went to a museum that had an exhibition on the use of masks in Bolivian history.
