Horseback riding in Salta

Most of our group decided to book a horse riding tour which looked like a lot of fun, once we arrived the Gauchos served us a light breakfast then got us up on our horses and we set off. We rode through some farm land and on local dirt roads, my horse was very cute but fancied being close to the back of the group whilst Alex’s horse tried to be at the very front causing it to be a non-romantic ride. The guachos showed us how to trot and we even got to go for an gallop which was incredible. Once we arrived back at the ranch we were greeted with bottles of local wine and sat down to a big bbq lunch with a massive variety of vegetables and salads which were exceptional.
